Someone will ask why "Hotel Funivia" ... the answer is in the past, in a small, but important, pill of history of these places. Till few years ago, in fact, the first Mont Blanc cable car stood right in front of the hotel, but today is replaced by the futuristic Skyway.
Now there is only nature, silence and a spectacular view of the european highest peak.
The creek sparkling waters will bring you until evening, where, with a little luck, you can also meet some slinky wild animals intent to snooping through our village houses.
By the way, know that your pets are special guests for us, so ... take the leash and enjoy beautiful walks through the mountains with the furry components of your family!!

We prefer calm to hurry, quality over quantity and we appreciate simplicity.
Mountain for us is synonymous with slowness and reflection, very far from the city rhythm.
Here you are on holiday and our advice is to turn off the mobile, relax and play sports: you will immediately see the beneficial effects of a holiday to the rhythm of nature.
In summer we will advise you on walks for all tastes and levels to enjoy the days in the open air, in winter you can immerse yourself in snowy landscapes that invite you to have fun skiing or regenerating walks with snowshoes.
We are eco-friendly and we are inspired by responsible and sustainable tourism, trying to limit waste and striving to respect the environment.
We choose as much as possible products at 0 km and ecological detergents for cleaning.
We aim to be a zero waste reality and the breakfast buffet is constantly replenished, to avoid unnecessary food waste.
We suggest you fill the bottle at the source next to the hotel and drink the fresh tap water.
We are located in La Palud, a quiet little village at 1440 meters. of altitude, entrance of Val Ferret, surrounded by beautiful landscapes, where the dominant colors are green, white and blue.
The village is 3 km from the fashionable center of Courmayeur and is served by buses that connect it to the town center, to the nearby villages and to the two side valleys.
By a short walk you reach the Skyway, which rises up to 3500 meters of Punta Helbronner, a privileged position to enjoy a 360 ° view of the Alps.
We are less than 1 km from the Val Veny cable car that leads to the ski area.
Two free public parking are at your disposal and you will have access to a small road that runs along the hotel to make luggage movement more practical.
Nearby you will find the Chalet Joli trattoria and the La Palud pizzeria which offer tourist menus at discounted prices.
In front of us the Armadillo winery offers delicious aperitifs with quality wines, accompanied by excellent music, even live.
The Savasandir bistrot is located in the same building as the hotel and offers refined yet simple dishes.
Two large public and free car parks are at your disposal 30 meters from the hotel with hourly restrictions on Wednesday morning (check the warning signs).
Going up to the municipal road in the direction of the hotel, you will find the first car park located on the left, in the center the old Mont Blanc cableway is installed. Going on for a few meters you will find the second large free parking on the right.
To facilitate the movement of luggage, you can access the small road that runs alongside the hotel and which must be taken from the upper side. Here there are two free parking spaces.
In the presence of snow or ice on the road we advise you not to take the road as it is rather steep.
If you don't want to take the car, a few meters away from us you will find 3 restaurants for all tastes, with tourist menus at discounted prices for our customers.
The Chalet Joli restaurant offers a simple but refined cuisine.
La Palud pizzeria is a typical restaurant with the atmosphere of a mountain chalet.
The nice L'Armadillo winery has a delicious gastronomic offer and quality wines, accompanied by excellent music, even live.
