Summer in Courmayeur is very funny with lots of things to do for all tastes. Trekking, alpinism, climbing, mountain bike, golf, fishing, rafting... whatever you do, you will be surrounded by nature with a Mont Blanc view.
La Palud is a small village 3 km from the center of Courmayeur. For this reason we are the good choice for those who prefer a quiet zone.
Bus stops to Courmayeur and Val Ferret are 100 meters from the hotel but sports lovers can start on foot from our B&B towards Val Ferret, a lovely and panoramic valley which offers beautiful treks. The most famous refuge are Bertone, Bonatti and Elena. Val Ferret is good also for ride a bike, for play golf, for fishing and there is also a small riding school.
Opposite to Val Ferret there it develops another wonderful and wild valley: the Val Veny that stretches right under the glaciers with lots of trekking, lakes and refuge to reach on foot or by bike.
For food lovers Courmayeur offers many restaurants with typical Aosta Valley’s dishes.
The sunset behind mountains is an unique scene and we advise you to admire it: the sun sets behind the Aguille Noire and with the mountains so close you will almost feel like touching them.
Less than 1 km away from our hotel are located the Val Veny cable car, which leads to the Courmayeur ski area, and the Skyway cable car for off-piste free riders lovers.
